The "Kastelruther Spatzen" in Kastelruth

Open Air Kastelruth - 8th to 10th October 2010

They are singing about mountains, country, love and friendship. Issues which are very important to us South Tyroleans, but about which no one of us would ever sing a song! Responsible for the singing part is the band "Kastelruther Spatzen", the musical ambassadors of our country.

The "Kastelruther Spatzen" is an outstanding band in the folk music scene. No other band in South Tyrol is as successful as the "Spatzen" are!

They won the "Grand Prix der Volksmusik" in 1990, they have got 20 gold-records and more than 30,000 fans are coming to the big "Kastelruther Spatzen-Festival" every year.

This year, the big Open Air of the "Kastelruther Spatzen" takes place from 8th to 12th October 2010 in Kastelruth. Dont'miss it!
