Milk-festival at Fane Alm-Alp near Vals

You like milk, the “white gold”? Come to the Fane Alm Alp near Vals at the beginning of September and celebrate whit many other mikf-fans the 2nd Milk-Festival in South Tyrol!

Milk is very healthy and offers vitamins, carbohydrates, calcium and many more, in short everything what a human being needs to feel really healthy. In South Tyrol farmers and alpine diaries produce 1 million liter of milk a day and process it to yoghurt, butter, cream and cheese.

During the Milk Festival at Fane Alp in Eisacktal Valley you will get every information about milk and its products, children will get entertained by myths and games and gourmets can taste South Tyrolean specialties in base of milk in one of the many huts in the Alp.

How to get there

From Brixen you have to drive to Mühlbach and from there on the left to Vals. Park your car there and walk to Fane Alp by feet. You will need 1 hour for the short excursion.
