The phenomenon of apple blossom is something you can have not only in Eisacktal Valley but also in Meran and surroundings or in Vinschgau Valley. But special in Eisacktal Valley is that with the awakening of nature also the culture awakes.

The local tourism boards speak about culture awakening, because besides the apple blossom in the area of Natz-Schabs, the villages and cities awake in a new, colourful splendor, too. Spring-walks get a new dimension after the monotonous winter: culture and arts now become interesting.

For example it’s worthwhile visiting the 3 medieval cities in Eisacktal Valley: the picturesque Sterzing with the beautiful shopping street, the culture- and congress city of Brixen with the baroque dome and the ancient city of Klausen, where the artist Albrecht Dürer once spend his holidays.
