Enjoy the winter in Eisacktal Valley!

The Eisacktal Valley is a destination families like: easy reachable by car, train or bus, many small and clear ski regions and some lovely alpine pastures where they can tobogganing, hiking or also cross country skiing.

Such as in Rodeneck and Lüsen alpine pasture: the romantic and gentle waved plateaus not only invites to do a lot of winter-sports but also to enjoy the many cozy huts, which are opened also in winter, and to relax in a wonderfully calm and silence landscape.

Skiing in Eisacktal Valley

Skiers instead will feel very fine in the ski regions of Rosskopf, Ladurns or Plose. Worth mentioning are also the ski resorts of Vals Jochtal and Gitschberg. All of them address particularly families. They are small, have easy slopes but also some challenging ski-runs for expert skiers: for instance the longest valley-descent in Plose ski region. The slope is called “Trametsch” and it is 9 km long.

In Eisacktal Valley there's more to it than that. We recommend visiting the romantic Christmas market in Brixen or the one in Sterzing: they two are the some of the most beautiful Christmas markets in South Tyrol. You see, in Eisacktal Valley you surely don’t get bored!
